The church council has been busy meeting about the pastoral transition at Grace. On January 14, the council met with Pastor Phil Tonnesen, Bishop's staff liaison, to discuss the interim pastor process. On February 16, during a called council meeting, the council interviewed an interim pastor candidate, Pastor John Propst. Finally, after discussing Pastor Propst's interview during its regularly scheduled meeting, the council voted unanimously to call Pastor Propst as our interim pastor. We are excited to welcome Pastor John to our community, and he will be beginning after Easter Sunday (date yet to be determined).
