Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church now accepts online donations. These online donations will work just like any other form of donation (for example, donations via cash or check) and will be tax deductible as long as proper contact information (Name and Address) are given with your donation.
Why Give?
In recognition of the fact that so many people appreciate the option of electronic or online giving, and commonly handle their finances online, Grace Lutheran has now decided to offer online giving to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. In this online and electronic financial society, giving to Grace online can really make a lot of sense. Not only is it quick and easy, but often there are benefits to online giving that traditional check and cash giving don't offer. Such benefits to giving online include:
- Many Credit Cards now offer Airline Miles, Cash Back or other incentives to use their services for payments and donations!
- Giving via Credit Card is one of the most secure methods of giving, as the Credit Card companies take full responsibility for online security and financial accounting of your donation.
- Giving online allows you to meet your financial giving wishes even in times when you can't be in church on a particular Sunday Morning or during the week.
- Giving online is convenient! Online donations can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are fully tax deductible when you include your name and address with your donation.
- You don't even have to be a member or be associated with Grace Lutheran Church to give.

How do I donate online?
On the this page, click the "Make a Donation" button. On the secure webpage that follows, enter in the amout of the donation you'd like to make. For Credit Card giving by non-Paypal members, please click on the "Click Here" button. Paypal members can enter in their email address and password and click "Continue" to give directly from their accounts. All payments will be processed through Paypal and there is no cost to you to give a donation online to Grace Lutheran Church.
Are there any costs associated with donating to Grace?
There are no costs associated to making a donation online and the amount donated is all that is debited.
What does it mean if the donation page states "Your purchase will be shipped to this address?"
Paypal recognizes the 'shipping address' as the address for which Grace Lutheran will use to send an end of year giving report for tax purposes. Paypal also considers a donation to be a "Purchase," as all online payments (even donations) are considered in technical terms to be payments or purchases.
Can I designate my donation?
As long as the donation is designated for a fund that is currently active at Grace, you may designate your donation. If you have questions about a gift designation, please contact our office.
Will my donation be tax deductible?
If you provide your Name and Address while submitting your online donation and if the donation meets IRS guidelines, it will be tax deductible. If you choose to donate anonymously (without providing your name and address), it will not be tax deductible. A statement of giving will be sent to all non-anonymous donors at the end of year for their financial records and for tax purposes.
Is donating online secure?
Yes. Paypal uses state-of-the-art encryption services to insure the highest level of security for all donations.
If I should chose to give via credit card, what credit cards are accepted?
At this time, Paypal can process donations via Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards.
Are there any other options for online giving other than Paypal?
Yes, Grace also offers “Simply Giving,” a program from Thrivent Financial offering electronic bank or credit card draft on a one-time or recurring basis. You may sign up to have your donation processed on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis. To take part in this easy plan, contact the church office.
